What made you decide to build your own tool?

We were developing e-shops, and clients had to handle emails and SMS separately. With 4home, we decided to take care of it ourselves—and that’s how MailQ was born. On top of that, customers got Czech technical support and the ability to shape new features based on their needs.

What was the biggest challenge in developing MailQ?

Handling hundreds of thousands of emails a day without any downtime. During major campaigns, we were sending up to 600,000 emails in a single day—across multiple countries, each with different email providers, which meant we had to fine-tune deliverability for each one.

Which feature are you most proud of?

We developed a system that calculates the optimal send time based on user behavior. This increased open rates and conversions—while also helping distribute email load more efficiently.
