Java | Senior | Expert

We are looking for a senior Java developer to join our team, someone who would welcome a change – to work on a meaningful project with a high degree of autonomy. Alternatively, we also welcome a promising, enthusiastic graduate who wants to apply their junior Java experience from university.

Who we are?

At the beginning, we were three students from the Czech Technical University, without capital and with experience only from school. Today, we are over 120 developers, and we are proud to have people on our team who are approached by Google. Every day, we do something to enjoy our work. Thanks to this, we succeed in building a top team of experts.

We are a bit different from many other companies. We don't have large glass offices, but every person with us sits on the best chair designed for programmers. We value our people.

We offer work in our offices in Prague 6 (300 m from the Czech Technical University) or remote work. We don't resell IT brains, but maintain stable partnerships with R&D teams of large companies. We work for clients from the Czech Republic and abroad. We also develop our own products and services, and we've even assembled our own robot.

Expectations from a senior:

5+ years of experience in IT
3+ years of experience in Java (current),
Experience with developing scalable applications,
Experience with service orchestration.

Expected skills:

Czech and English language proficiency,
Java EE / Spring,
Tomcat, Wildfly,
Hibernate, Grails,
Relational and non-relational databases,
REST, SOAP, messaging.

Bonus points for:

Knowledge of Galera cluster,
Knowledge of AWS services (SNS, SQS ...),
API gateway.
